Healthy Lifestyle for Today


Everyone wants to live a healthy lifestyle for today. Maximum health - maximum health of body and maximum health of mind. The Ultimate of Health! Why?

So we can achieve a certain physical goal.
So we can work out a certain mental problem.
So we can enjoy life.

We want to live comfortably without having to take medicine or pills that cut off the pain of living. We want to enjoy living fully.

The ancients had two phrases for it. "A sound mind in a sound body" and "Everything in moderation."

Maximum health is NOT physical or mental. It is BOTH in BALANCE.

If you have maximum physical health but can't concentrate your thoughts because of a mental unbalance, you are not balanced.

If you have maximum mental health but can't make your body respond as you want it to, you are unbalanced.

Life is like a teeter-totter. You must achieve a balance and you must constantly maintain that balance.

The way to obtain that balance is through balancing your own maximum health of body with your own maximum health of mind.

You balance your body by being aware if it (gathering knowledge and information) and by being aware of how you use it. You also have to do some physical exercise every day that is appropriate to the physical work that you will do that day. This doesn't take a lot of time. 30 - 60 minutes a day. And remember: variety is the spice that makes life interesting.

You balance your mind by being aware of your thinking and thought process. You also have to do some mental exercise every day that is appropriate to the mental work that you will do that day. Meditating, focusing, and mentally relaxing as little as 30 minutes a day are helpful.

Doing this daily regimen will give you the maximum health of body and mind and help you to stay aware. Exercise and meditation can help you achieve balance and maintain a healthy lifestyle for today.
